Patients' Choice Rehab and Fitness encompasses Rehab needs for both inpatients and outpatients. There are experienced therapists who are equipped to meet the needs of patients of all ages and impairments. This unique Fitness/Rehab setting offers a variety of equipment options in a pleasant and spacious atmosphere. Our therapists also meet the needs of the community by providing services to the schools, preschools, and nursing homes. They also help with health screenings and health fairs.

Patients' Choice Rehab and Fitness is housed in a 4500 square foot building equipped with cardio and strengthening equipment as well as physical therapy modalities including: moist heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, paraffin, and a recently aquired anodyne unit.

There is a work out space complete with mirrors, balls for dynamic stabilization, and mats. Debra, the fitness coordinator, teaches classes to the fitness clients as well as develops programs to meet individual fitness goals. An extra advantage to sharing the space is that it provides a motivating atmosphere and provides the expertise of a physical therapist if needed with fitness programs.

The reasons listed are for the staff’s caring attitudes as well as the competency and expertise of these professionals. A physician’s prescription is needed to receive physical therapy; however, no prescription is needed to participate in fitness.
