Dietary Department

The Dietary Department offers a variety of services to both inpatients and outpatients. We provide three meals a day to patients, employees, medical staff and visitors. Our normal business hours for the dining room are 6:00 am until 5:00 pm. We also provide meals to several outside organizations who regularly meet at the hospital.

Our staff consists of a Registered Dietician, a full time manager, 3 full time and 2 PRN employees. We are fortunate that all, but one of our staff has been here for over 7 years, with two having been here for over 24 years. This has allowed us to develop long lasting relationship with many patients and their families. Trinity's Dietary ladies are known for going that extra mile to entice patient's appetites. At Trinity Hospital, we treat you like family because to us you are family.

Our staff works closely with other departments to provide appropriate therapeutic diets for all patients. Family and friends also play an important part in this aspect of care since they often provide encouragement at meal time. Trinity Hospital's Dietary works closely with each patient to provide a diet plan that takes into account any religious, ethnic, allergies or personal preferences.
